Connect your Shopify store
Link your Shopify store to Sakura so the AI can read orders, process refunds and answer "where is my package" with real data.

Sakura needs read access to your Shopify store so it can answer customer questions with real order data — tracking numbers, shipping windows, refund eligibility. Without this connection the AI still works, but it answers in generic templates instead of actual order details.
Before you start
- You must be the Shopify store owner OR have an account with Apps and channels permission.
- You need access to admin.shopify.com (the Sakura app installs as a custom app).
- Have your support inbox handy — we will connect it next (see Connect Gmail).
Step 1 — Open the Onboarding flow
Sign in to your Sakura dashboard and go to Onboarding (it opens automatically right after signup). Click Connect Shopify Store.
Step 2 — Authorize Sakura
- You will be redirected to admin.shopify.com.
- Log in if asked, then review the requested scopes (read_orders, read_customers, write_refunds — that is it).
- Click Install app. You return to Sakura with the store linked.
Step 3 — Confirm the link
Back in Sakura, the dashboard shows the store name and a green dot. Open Config → Store and confirm the currency, country and shipping window are right (Sakura tries to detect from your Shopify settings, but you should sanity-check).
Common gotchas
- If the install button does nothing, your browser may be blocking third-party cookies for admin.shopify.com — try in a private window.
- Multiple stores: re-run the same flow per store. The Growth plan supports up to 3 connected stores; Scale is unlimited.
- The shipping window (min/max delivery days) drives most of the AI replies — set it accurately.
